Join us at the community center on September 19 from 6:30P-8:30P for a FREE Emergency Preparedness Planning Workshop. At this workshop, we’ll discuss the critical elements your emergency plan needs to keep you and your household safe during a disaster. Topics include: • Emergency Communications Plan – learn where you can go to get emergency information AND make a plan for how you’ll communicate with your loved ones. • Tips for all Circumstances – Do you have a disability? Share your home with pets? Have small children? Learn preparedness and planning tips for all the circumstances that make your household unique. • Build-a-Kit - we’ll discuss the items you should have in a grab-n-go kit as well as a shelter-in-place kit. • Regional Hazards – we’ll discuss the regions hazards and what you can do before, during, and after a disaster to keep you and your household safe • And so much more! Materials, including a fillable, bound booklet, are provided for FREE to attendees. Attendees should come prepared to complete the workbook while during the workshop. Registration is required.
