
Gully Gardens is by the City of Tukwila’s Parks and Recreation Department and is located at Riverton Park, 4101 S. 131st St. The P-Patch was formally renamed in 2014 to “Gully Gardens” in honor of Paul and Betty Gully for their many years of service and contributions to the community. The P-Patch is a community-based program designed to allow gardeners to grow fruits, vegetables, and flowers for their own enjoyment. The P-Patch offers two plot sizes: • 10 x 40 feet, 400 sq. ft - $40 Annually • 10 x 10 feet, 100 sq. ft - $15 Annually Important dates: • Jan 2nd: Past participants may reserve the same two plots per household as the previous year • Jan 18th: Tukwila residents can reserve two plots per household • Feb 1st: All gardeners may request a third plot (based on availability); anyone can rent two plots per household. • Mar 21st: Season opens (please be aware of the last frost); Gardner's may work in plots • Nov 15th Season ends and all non-plant material must be removed from plots. Tukwila Parks & Recreation staff will send a welcome letter and rules before March 21st.
